Returns and Refund Policy
We have a 60-day return and refund policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return.
1. Change of Mind Returns
You have the option of returning an item should you have a change of mind on a purchase. The item is to be returned within 60 days of you receiving it.
You can select a refund or store credit. Refunds are processed back into the card or account that the original payment was taken from.
A “Change of Mind” return is subject to the following conditions :
Item Condition
Items returned must be in 'as-new' condition and packaged securely in the original packaging. This means you have not used or damaged any of the items. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Packaging and Shipping the Item
Items returned must be packaged securely in the original packaging the item was supplied with. Should the item returned to us not be in the original packaging and in its original condition, we reserve the right to not accept the return and you will be responsible for the cost of sending your returned goods back to you.
Should an item be received damaged due to inadequate packaging, we reserve the right not to refund the returned item.
You will be responsible for the shipping costs on a Change of Mind return, irrespective of any free, discounted or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes the costs of shipping the item to you in the first place and the cost of shipping back to us.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
The following categories are not eligible for a “Change of Mind” return:
- “Made to order” products.
- Cushions
- Clearance stock;
- Gift Cards;
- Items that have been used or damaged.
Items "Made to order" cannot be returned for a refund for change of mind or incorrectly ordered products. This includes Wall Art as as stated on the relevant wall art products:
- We make every effort to represent our wall art prints as accurately as possible, however as every screen has different colour settings, including vibrancy & tone, we would like to advise that we will not be held responsible for the difference in colour, tone or vibrancy for a print & no refund will be given.
- As all our wall art prints are made to order in Australia, we do not offer refunds for change of mind or when the incorrect size, frame colour or border option has been ordered in error.
Processing your “Change of Mind” return
For a “Change of Mind” return, please contact us at support@beautifulhomedecor.com.au .
A member of our team will assist you with the details on how and where to send your “Change of Mind” package.
Once we receive the returned item from you and have found the item to be in an acceptable condition, we will provide you with a refund or store credit as selected by you.
2. Damaged Products
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately or within 3 days if the item is defective or damaged so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If the item arrives and the packaging or the item itself is clearly and significantly damaged, please take photos and send it to us immediately at support@beautifulhomedecor.com.au
Our team will advise if the item is to be returned to us. Should the product need to be returned to us, we will arrange for the pickup and cover the costs of the return. Please ensure that the item is packaged in its original packaging or well packaged to prevent any damage in transit.
Depending on the circumstances you may be entitled to have the product replaced (subject to availability) or receive a refund or store credit.
Please also note that we will not process returns where the damage is to the external packaging or product packaging only.
In the instance where a refund or store credit is issued, the amount refunded will be the same as the original amount paid for the item, including shipping costs.
Please note that refunds are only processed back into the card or into the account that the original payment was taken from.
We reserve the right to refuse a claim for a refund or replacement if the item is not, by our definition, faulty or damaged in transit or if the item has been correctly delivered as per the customer’s instructions.
3. Incorrect item delivered
If you have received the wrong item, please contact us at support@beautifulhomedecor.com.au immediately or within 3 days of receiving your item.
We will arrange to send you the correct items plus the collection of the incorrect item from you at our expense.
4. Gift Cards and Sale Items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale or clearance items or gift cards
5. Cancelled Orders
Should you want to cancel an order, it must be cancelled before the order is processed and shipped. In this case we will refund you the full amount.
Cancelled orders that have already been processed or shipped will be treated as a Change of Mind return and processed accordingly.
Made to order items cannot be cancelled.
6. Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund has been approved or not.
If approved, you’ll be refunded within 1 business day on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
7. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to update this Returns and Refunds Policy from time to time by publishing the revised terms on our website www.beautifulhomedecor.com.au
The amended Returns and Refunds Policy will take effect from 7 days after we publish it on our Website, except in relation to orders of products prior to the effective date, in which case the previous version of the Shipping and Returns Policy will apply to those items.
This Returns and Refund Policy is in addition to, and is not intended to exclude, restrict or modify your rights under the consumer guarantee provisions of the Australian Consumer Law (which forms part of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
